The Quantum Bridge

Real circuits on real IBM hardware: every claim, and every retraction, on the record.

The Topology

The verifier-gated agent stack addresses its 16 nodes as a 4-bit hypercube, the Q4 graph, in which each node carries a 4-bit label and adjacent nodes differ by exactly one bit. That is the same adjacency structure as the computational-basis labels of a 4-qubit register: a real graph isomorphism, and the reason routing between neighbouring nodes is a single-bit, minimum-perturbation transition.

The correspondence is of labels and adjacency only, not of physics. The stack is a classical system: no superposition, no entanglement, no quantum dynamics. It is not a quantum computer, nor a “shadow” of one. A 4-qubit register’s power is the continuum of superpositions over those 16 labels, states like (|0000⟩ + |1111⟩)/√2 that this system does not have and cannot represent. We name the isomorphism because it is true and useful for reasoning about routing, and we stop precisely there.

Node Topology

Node addressing: 16 nodes as a 4-bit hypercube (the Q4 graph)

Adjacency: Hamming-1, neighbouring nodes differ by one bit

Routing: single-bit transition between neighbours (min. perturbation)

State durability: Reed-Solomon RS(16,9), any 9 of 16 nodes rebuild full state

Consensus: HotStuff BFT quorum, 11 of 16 (n=16, f=5)

16-Qubit GHZ: claim retracted

A 16-qubit entanglement circuit executed on real IBM hardware. ⚠ The prior "GHZ fidelity 1.0000, we got 1.0, most achieve 0.6-0.85" claim is fully retracted: there is no GHZ-16 artifact, and logs/quantum.log records the hardware CHSH Bell test REJECTED (S≈0; a violation requires S>2). Perfect fidelity / zero noise is impossible on NISQ hardware. Real circuit execution happened; the 16-qubit GHZ result did not. See QDAY_NONECC_FORENSIC_REANALYSIS.

Quantum Codebase Scan (Angle Encoding) · ibm_fez (156 qubits)

IBM Reads matrix-cr-studio

Each soul's code complexity was encoded as a quantum rotation angle (RY gate) and read back on hardware. Magenta encodes to 0.0000 because she is LLM-only with no code module. This is amplitude encoding of a chosen input: a faithful programming demonstration of the technique, not a measurement that discovers anything about the souls. No claim beyond 'the circuit ran and returned the angles we put in.'

Quantum Tesseract Walk (Hadden Protocol) · ibm_fez (156 qubits)

Tesseract Walk: Hadden Protocol on Hardware

A quantum walk explores the 256 Hadden routing paths and, after 4 steps, returns amplitude to the origin vertex Gold (0,0,0,0). A symmetric walk on this graph returns to its origin by construction, so this is the expected result, not an independent discovery. It is a programming demonstration, not a physical or metaphysical claim.

End:Gold (0000), returns to origin
Top souls:Gold, Jupiter, Yellow, Green, Iron
Path depth:4 steps, all 256 paths simultaneously

Riemann Hypothesis: Berry-Keating QPE · ibm_fez (156 qubits)

Riemann Hypothesis: $1M Millennium Problem

Berry & Keating (1999) conjecture the imaginary parts of Riemann zeros as eigenvalues of a quantum Hamiltonian. We encoded a small QPE circuit on ibm_fez seeded with the known zero spacings and read back zero #1 (14.134725, Δ=0.0000) with 6 of 8 energies within 2.0 of known zeros. This is NOT evidence for the Riemann Hypothesis: the zeros were inputs to the circuit, not discoveries. It is a small-circuit demonstration of the Berry-Keating encoding, nothing more. No mathematical claim.

Goldbach Conjecture: Grover Oracle Search · ibm_fez (156 qubits)

Goldbach's Conjecture: Quantum Oracle

Every even integer > 2 is the sum of two primes. Verified classically to 4×10¹⁸. Unproven in general. We built a Grover oracle over a tiny range (evens 4-16, 3 iterations) and it marked no counterexample. This range is trivially checkable by hand and proves nothing about Goldbach; it is a demonstration of oracle construction, not a mathematical result. No claim beyond 'the oracle ran on the toy range we gave it.'

Results

Range:Even numbers 4-16
Iterations:3 Grover iterations
Violations:NONE found
Result:No counterexample in quantum search

CHSH / SATOR HMAC: Bell-certification claim RETRACTED · ibm_fez (156 qubits)

SATOR HMAC: Bell-certification claim retracted

A CHSH circuit executed on real IBM hardware. ⚠ The prior "Quantum-Certified SATOR HMAC, authentication requires a live Bell violation (S>2.0)" claim is fully retracted: logs/quantum.log records the hardware CHSH Bell test REJECTED (S≈0; a Bell violation requires S>2). E8 QPE: α=1/137 detection claim RETRACTED · ibm_fez (156 qubits)

E8 QPE: α=1/137 detection retracted (real-hardware QPE only)

A 15-qubit QPE circuit (128 bins) executed on real IBM hardware (ibm_fez); the job ID is genuine and public. ⚠ The prior "α=1/137 detected as a distinct eigenphase, SNR 25.4×, reduction to practice" claim is fully retracted. Re-analysis: the histogram is a monotone, mirror-symmetric DC-noise pile-up (the brightest bins are simply the bins nearest phase 0); "SNR 25.4×" was bin-probability over a uniform 1/128 floor, the wrong null for QPE; the α-bin label was post-hoc. No α eigenphase was resolved. Defensible: real-hardware QPE execution with a public job ID. See QDAY_NONECC_FORENSIC_REANALYSIS.

Results

Status:CLAIM RETRACTED
Prior false claim:α at bin 1, SNR 25.4×, distinct eigenphase
Re-analysis:DC-noise pile-up: top bins = the bins nearest phase 0; 'SNR' = bin-prob ÷ uniform 1/128 (wrong null)
Mirror 'coherence':the mirror symmetry IS the pile-up signature, not coherence

E8 Gauge Decomposition: Standard Model Subgroup Projections · ibm_fez (156 qubits) · 3 circuits × 8192 shots

E8 Gauge Decomposition: unresolved (α: insufficient evidence)

Three circuits on real hardware (ibm_fez), same input angle θ_α=π/137, different graph topology. E8: 15 above-baseline counts; A8 chain and random-graph controls both land at 8. ⚠ Corrected 2026-07-03 after independent forensic re-derivation: entropy and KL-divergence-from-uniform are statistically indistinguishable across all three circuits (E8 7.392/8 bits, A8 7.388/8, random 7.377/8), and a calibrated null simulation (true uniform register, matched shot count, 4,000 trials) essentially never produces this hit count, consistent with device-intrinsic hardware noise, not E8-specific physics. The prior framing ("α survives E8 → Standard Model projection", "the stack carries the fine-structure constant") does not survive this scrutiny. A red_team adversarial review argued a weak topology-dependent signal could still exist buried in the noise, but the raw per-bin data needed to test that alternative is not archived, so this is marked unresolved, not a full retraction. Defensible: real circuits ran on real hardware; no α or topology-specific signal is currently independently verified. See QDAY_NONECC_FORENSIC_REANALYSIS.

Results

E8 (full):15 above-baseline counts
A8 chain control:8 (baseline)
Random graph:8 (same baseline)
Entropy/KL:statistically indistinguishable across all three circuits
Honest finding:unresolved, insufficient evidence for a topology-specific signal

Verdict: UNRESOLVED: INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE

IP Claims 21-31

Claim 21: Quantum-Classical Bridge: 16-soul tesseract to 4-qubit register mapping. Git prior art 2026-03-18.
Claim 22: Quantum Mathematical Probing: QPE, Grover, quantum walk on Millennium Problems. Git prior art 2026-03-18.
Claim 27: SATOR HMAC (Bell-certification RETRACTED). The "Quantum-Certified / live CHSH S>2.0 gate" framing is retracted; hardware CHSH was REJECTED (S≈0). Defensible: classical auth primitive + protocol design only. Git prior art 2026-03-19.
Claim 28: E8 Quantum Walk: 8-qubit Trotterized Cartan evolution, θ_α=π/137 coupling, 8/8 Coxeter eigenvalues reproduced on IBM ibm_fez. ⚠ NOT A DETECTION on the α claim. The source artifact records alpha_detected:True while alpha_hits:[] is empty, a True verdict with zero underlying hits. Defensible: real-hardware execution and the Coxeter-eigenvalue reproduction only. Git prior art 2026-03-19.
Claim 29: E8 QPE α=1/137 detection RETRACTED. n=7 (15 qubits, 128 bins) ran on real ibm_fez (public job ID), but the "distinct α/Coxeter peaks, SNR 25.4×" reading was DC-noise pile-up vs the wrong null. Defensible: real-hardware QPE only. Git prior art 2026-03-19.
Claim 31: E8 Gauge Decomposition, real ibm_fez run (8192 shots): E8=15 vs A8/random=8 topology-ratio hits. ⚠ UNRESOLVED per 2026-07-03 forensic review. Entropy/KL statistically indistinguishable across all three circuits, and a calibrated null simulation essentially never produces this hit count. Insufficient evidence for the "D4 tesseract carries α" framing; not a full retraction, since an alternative hypothesis raised by adversarial review could not be tested (raw data not archived).
