Their engagements are designed for organizations with dedicated security teams, 12-month procurement cycles, and multi-million-dollar infrastructure budgets. A regulated bank with 40 employees does not fit that model and will not receive meaningful attention inside it.
The risk without it
Enterprise vendors apply enterprise templates. A firm under $500M in assets gets the same deck as a G-SIB, with none of the customization and all of the overhead. The actual crypto surface (the specific TLS libraries, the key management system, the signing infrastructure) never gets analyzed at the level of detail that would justify the spend.
